Ok so we went to this awesome place to eat lunch today. Mahesh dropped us at this place called red lobster at Laurel county. So damn awesome i tell you. We saw the commercials on tv and i told yy. Dude we gotta go there man. That is some insane seafood. So ok finally we came here after like so many weeks. mmmhmm.

Look what we got. Ok that's yy's plate. I think its prawn and lobster sauce. Apparently this wasnt quite what he wanted so...mmm too bad haha.

This was MINE. hahaha. Prawns,lobster,Scallops. Totally shitting good i swear. I couldnt stop commenting on its flavour. Scallops were nice and tough. Lobster was pretty good. Prawn was ooh. good. totally awesome. Then they had this amazing sauce. I have no idea what's that. Its turbid. Like some culture grown in LB but aiya. Not a very good description but you get the point. Its that kinda colour but it tastes like holy shit good man.

Anyway, here are the pickups that i bought yesterday.

Gotta go some place and load em up. They should sound great. Its like having 2 humbuckers in my strat now so... better be good. I blew some 160bucks there man.

Okok. Now for the funniest part of the day. hahahahah you'll die laughing. After lunch we walked into BestBuy. Some electronics store with all kinds of electronics. Then they had this guitar section. Really cool. So while yy was looking for computer games i went inside to play. I asked to test a gibson 1979 SG. LOL. yah i know. gibson. never played a gibson before. Never felt good enough to hold one but you know what. I thought it was an epiphone cos it was like high high up the rack so i just told the guy- eh yeah that one. Cherry red. yes. Lemme try thanks. So ok. i went into this demo room and.. go watch for yourself. LOL damn embarrassing hahahah.

lol. I bought pickups today. and sold my acoustic guitar for 50dollars. hahaha. screw it. Yeap. Spent like 160 at the shop just now but minus the 50bucks so its about 110. Ok la. Bought the hot rails and the JB humbuckers. Guess ill fit em in when im back. Anyone wanna follow me to standard value?

The big accident yday at fort totten screwed up half of the train services at red line. man. There were like what. 6+deaths? Kinda scary. Anyway, bad news- i'm gonna get quarantined for 7days when im back. Fuck. I'll miss out all the talks and stuff. Terrible. -.- and all that swimming! fuck man. Ethan can you drive over and bring back my amp as well as your dumb bells? I could use them for 7days or so. Tyvm.

Mmmmmmmmmmm. So tempted to buy pickups over here. But i'm not sure how cheap are they in singapore. Anyway, was thinking of buying this duncan alnico pro 2 and putting that at bridge position. hahah. I'm not sure if it would work as nicely in a strat but i guess it should.

then i was thinking about getting this dimarzio virtual solo pup and putting it at neck position

But this dimarzio HS-2 comes in green as well. so... i dont know. Looks like i gotta consult dale or something.

Idea is to not get too specific a sound or i'd just get sick of it the moment my taste changes. Man if i were to get all three.... it would cost me some 270bucks. damn. But imagine all of that going through the VOX. mmmmmm hahahahahhah. I think its gonna blow people's minds.

Anyway, was talking to ethan yesterday. Was actually quite surprised that this guy was actually thinking. hahaha then again, he's always thinking but about other useless stuffs. So for once, he's thinking about something useful. Good good(: Anyway, i wanna sell the acoustic that i bought here. Trying to sell it back to the shop for like 3/4 the price or something. Hope they wanna buy. In fact whatever price they give me i'd prolly take it cos im cant bring it back unless i pay 200dollars extra to check it in. Not quite the worth it for a guitar that cost less than that. We'll see.

man it feels so weird when everyone around you is pop-ing from BMT. Feels like im like the odd one out T.T damn weird. Then one by one people start asking me: eh so which unit are you posted to? anyway, i just saw the pics from the NTU friendly. aw man. i Really really miss the pool. I realised i've spent so long inside there and now i'm like pretty much attached to it already. sigh. less than 2 more weeks ='(

i just realised how busy ill be when im back. fyp, briefings, talks, that ppp shit, discussions, training, extra training, comps, tm trainings, tm camp, NVC 09, and im sure i missed out stuffs here and there. My my. i just dont seem to get any less busy eh. But its okay. I'll manage. If not something's gotta go.

wow sp's biathlon. I wanna go man. Dexter is our club sending people to go?

LOL. then again, 100% i dont think i can run 7.5km anymore hahaha. shits. But i wanna go! go there and waddle around and take a stroll. Fun fun.

okay. i just stopped my work not too long ago. Made some phone calls but apparently people are all asleep. Especially the people in army. Lol. Dead asleep. We'll be heading over to mahesh's place for the night. hahah. I shall drain all his alcohol left in his fridge lolol. I had some pretty awesome sleep last night. The moment i hung up with fanny i went down and lied down. yy was still playing his game. Then before i knew it i knocked out lol. wow. so good man. Some decent sleep. But i still woke up at 7.30 thinking i had work lol. Then woke up again at 9 to bathe then had those fucking brocolis for breakkie lol. Damn they should prepare better food for me man. Anyway i woke up this morning feeling skinnier than ever. dang. I walked like 20mins over to that stupid computer shop cos i wanted to pick up my fried laptop but apaprently the person forgot to bring my laptop from the workshop to the store. What a dumbf. Nvm. So i walked back to the lab. Then i realised i didnt bring my ipod. zz lol. Nvm walk somemore. Finally reached office. Did part1 of that biofilm competition crap shit then tada here i am. Oh i got this sudden craving to buy a seymour pup before i go back. It's prolly cheaper here. Anyone knows? I'm looking at their hot rails series. Realised that my les paul dream wouldnt be materialising anytime soon. So.. yeah screw that shit.

okok. yy's like finally done. Gonna head over for lunch. Miss you babe. I'll call if i can tmr. loves<3

man. i feel so terrible. i hate this exhausted feeling. And guess what. Though tmr's saturday, ill prolly wake up at 6 thinking i have to go to work. Whether i get back to sleep is another thing. I hate my habit of not being able to go back to sleep. Some people do it easily but i just cant go back to sleep when i wake up. Not all the time. T.T

this better be worth it..

i'm still trying to do my presentation slides. Boss was supposed to check them yesterday but was too busy to even talk to him. Speaking of which. Lol. yesterday was horrible. I burned 150petrifilm plates at work yesterday. Good eh? That means today i gotta count my colonies. Then subtract. Then get average for each mix. Then calculate competitive index. T.T whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. my mom was like what happened to you?? over the phone just now. She told me i better go buy fruits today evening. Pls im so tired to even walk to shoppers can. this sucks.

this is a record breaker. 9pm and we're still in lab. or rather in the office. yy's playing his game. I'm still planning for part2 for today's biofilm expt. fucking complex i swear. 5pages of planning for one experiment. Imagine that man. 5page protocol T.T i wanna die already. That's part1. Part2 is like another 3-4pages of planning. Then followed by data analysis. So another 2pages of writing. so that makes it around 10page for one biofilm competition experiment. wtc mannnnnn. so so so exhausted. I was so fugging tired this morning so i took this caffeine shot. Yeah like some concentrated redbull drink i bought long ago. Still so tired. zz.. And oh guess what. boss told porteen and yy saying that yy will be getting 2nd author for his O157H7 paper. porteen will get 1st author and boss will be corresponding author. T.T Good for you man. I think i'll prolly get 2nd author for my rcs paper as well. Though im like doing all the work.. but then again, if mahesh didnt generate the mutants, i wouldnt have anything to experiment on. so... guess mahesh deserves 1st author. Well well, i'm guessing the paper will go to FEMS. Maybe with this biofilm competition data it might get to Jbacter but im doubtful. Well well. For all that work, i guess its worth it. Sighh\

ITS JUNE.

hi.

lets see. Just when i thought i was about done with the rcs business, boss threw me another experiment to design. Biofilm competition. T.T i swear i should have picked choy weng keong's biofilm topic for fyp. wasted la. Anyway, in case you didnt know, i fried my old lappy's motherboard and HD. How? No clue. Doesnt matter. New lappy's coming soon. But all my old data is gone. sucks man.

and apparently i got a presentation to make next friday. Yeah. Boss wants us to present our projects to the people in environmental and food safety lab. Yah. I've never even met them la. Present to them for what. geesus. Suddenly i find it so hard to recollect the whole project. Well, whatever it is, it had better be good cos i'm like reading reviews after reviews and paper after paper. Oh, now i realise how troublesome making slides are. So i must thank ethan for helping me make slides for our previous assignments lol.

The bright side of it is... after next friday, boss is heading to florida for a vacation so........... I'm free! Well sorta. But yah. Free from stress at least. From next friday onwards, its time to enjoy my last few weeks of stay. Till then, god speed.
